SherlockHomes helps people make better-informed decisions when buying or renting a home. We’re starting in the city of Lisbon.
A listing tells you what the owner or agent wants you to know. SherlockHomes shows you what it doesn’t, through verified, first-hand information from people who have actually visited the home, the building and the street.
We don’t collect star ratings or opinions. We collect facts: photographs, answers to specific questions, and the concrete strengths and problems visitors observed. Every contribution is checked before it’s published, and each one shows its depth: how many questions it answers and how much visual evidence it contains.
Reading is free and open to everyone. To write a review, you sign in with your email: there’s no password and membership is free.
We accept no advertising and no payments from owners, landlords, estate agents or developers. SherlockHomes is funded by donations from the people who use it, and no donation buys influence over what we publish.
